Information you enter

BetTax handles gambling session records, winnings, losses, platform and location labels, W-2G details, withholding amounts, notes, assumptions, and export selections that you choose to enter.

Local-only ledger

Records stay on your iPhone. There is no account, backend, advertising profile, analytics collection, odds feed, picks service, or Social Security number field.

Exports

PDF and CSV packets are created only when you request them. After export, the file is handled by the destination and sharing method you choose. Review sensitive tax information before sharing.

Apple services

Apple processes App Store purchases and restores. BetTax receives purchase entitlement status needed to unlock Pro features.

Your choices

You can edit or delete records, control exports, manage purchases through Apple, or remove locally stored data by uninstalling BetTax.

Retention and deletion

On-device records remain until you delete them in the app or remove the app and its local data. Exported copies remain wherever you chose to save or share them and must be deleted from those destinations separately.

Children

BetTax Ledger is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through a developer-operated backend. A parent or guardian should supervise any information kept on a child’s device or profile.

Policy changes

If this policy changes, the effective date on this page will be updated. Material changes will be described where required by the app or App Store listing.

Do not include Social Security numbers, complete tax returns, or unredacted financial documents in a support email.
